LAY THIS DRUM!
Our formulas

THE SHOW
Through an explosive, energetic and exclusively female show, Lay this drum! questions the issue of " gender " in our modern society and debunks the
shots with power and a touch of impertinence.
Lay this drum! offers a rhythmic and poetic look at identity in today's world with the opening thought: "Hey, is it true that women can play percussion too?"
After an aborted start due to the pandemic, the show has continued to be performed to sold-out audiences in Belgium and abroad, making, among other things, a very notable appearance at the Avignon Festival in 2022. The real success of this show has transformed this supposedly short-lived adventure into a real team/family with long-term projects (...and a future new creation to come!)
THE "OUTDOOR" VERSION
Far from the decor and the staging of the show, the musicians of LAY THIS DRUM! offer you a different musical moment, an " outdoor " version made of their best pieces from the show as well as participatory improvisations that you will not be able to resist.
Percussive and wild “female empowerment”.
A moment full of energy and good vibes not to be missed under any circumstances!
This version, closer to the concert format, can be played outdoors or indoors, at festivals, urban events, etc.

EVENT AND CORPORATE
The LAY THIS DRUM! team also offers its services for your private and corporate events, for your team building, etc.
We adapt completely to your request and offer you a multitude of possibilities to make your events unforgettable.
