About the event
Through an explosive, energetic and exclusively female show, Lay This Drum! questions the issue of "gender" in our modern society and debunks feminine/masculine clichés by going to all the playing fields.
THE SHOW From body drumming to motor oil cans, from nail boards to paint buckets, from stiletto heels to construction boots, everything that can be bumped, rubbed and hit ends up on stage.
Lay This Drum! offers a rhythmic look at identity in today's world with the following thought running through the show: "Hey, is it true that women can also play percussion?"
